It's no joke! We have been snowed under by an army of Olafs that have taken over our Winter display. Although it's warmed up this week we have had plenty of frosty days this year and the children have had plenty of opportunities to chill out after school looking for tracks, finding frozen puddles and cobwebs and generally squeezing every minute out of the time before it got too dark to stay outside. We fed the chickens extra scraps to give them more energy in the cold and discovered they stopped laying in the middle of Winter. Back inside there have been plenty of snowflakes and stories of animals from snowy lands.
