We have entered the Grow Your Own Potatoes challenge again this year and have already chitted and planted our seed spuds. We aim to grow as heavy a crop as possible and compete against lots of other primary schools in the region. Along the way we learn lots of spud facts, how to look after them, weigh them and vote on the best tasting variety. I don't think they'll need a lot of watering over the next few days as Storm Gareth blows through! Next time you are in club you can see how we are getting along be following our chart or ask for a guided tour of the garden from one of our resident experts. If anyone has spare seeds or garden equipment they'd like to get rid of all donations will be warmly welcomed - you may even get a taste of the produce later in the year!
