Happy New Year!
Headlands School is leading a project in the York area called Polli:Nation. It aims to involve schools in raising awareness and amount of space for pollinating insects. Out of School Club have already helped by doing some of the bug and plant counts needed to start the project last year and this year will take part in a large art attack in the mini meadow. This evening we have been designing wild flowers to be turned into giant versions to look over our meadow till the real things grow in a few months time. If you have any spare bright cloth or wool we could use it to decorate our flowers. Also if you have any old or split wellies we can plant bulbs in them and decorate the garden. Any spare seeds, pots or old tools will come in handy too. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.
