A corner of the club has been taken over by rockets, planets and friendly aliens all coloured and crafted by the children. Several classes in school have had a space theme recently so there was plenty of fun facts about space to be over heard as the children worked and helped the little ones too. If you look carefully you might recognise some of the intrepid astronauts in the rocket windows as they zoom to the moon. We also had a visit to the cosmodome, brought in by the University of York, where we could gaze up at changing constellations and visit far off planets - all very exciting! Which planet will you fly to when you get older?
