Lots of children at Out of School Club have had a chance over the last couple of weeks to help make the bows and arrows to be used in the Year 3 / 4 play 'Hoodwinked' which has it's dress rehearsal this coming Monday. We cut down hazel and willow from the school wood, peeled off the bark, whittled the wood into shape and finally decorated and strung the bows and added feathers to the arrows. We tested them and the children could easily fire them far enough to get anyone in the audience caught chatting during the play - you have been warned!
